It is an Android-powered smartphone for Verizon Wireless. It sports clean lines and a side-sliding design, which allows for a four-row QWERTY keyboard. The display is pretty big – 3.7 inches, while other features include a 5MP camera, microSDHC slot, GPS and Wi-Fi.

This mobile phone is a Cricket exclusive cell phone meaning it’s available only with Cricket Wireless service. It’s a very affordable phone and a great alternative to other more expensive options. It’s biggest downfall is that it has very limited multimedia functionality. This is mainly because it doesn’t have a MicroSD expansion slot. Therefore you cannot load it with your movies, music, pictures, etc. If that doesn’t bother you then this phone might be for you. This phone is best meant for someone who texts/e-mails a lot. It’s full keyboard allows you quick access to all your friends VIA text&e-mail. E-mail options include: Yahoo Mail, MS Live mail, GMail, Hotmail, and other options. You can take pictures using the 1.3MegaPixel front facing camera. After you take a picture you can share it with your friends using MMS. Overall, its a very affordable and solid phone (that is if you don’t need multimedia options).

If you listen closely to the beginning of this video, you’ll hear Wicket bark. I was doing a pan and scan of my living room downstairs, using a camera connected to my network remotely.

Real-Time wireless control of professional cameras for the movie industry.
www.plcelectronicsolutions.com
The Wireless iRis allows Directors of Photography, camera assistants, or Digital Technicians the freedom of being able to move around the film set without being required to carry additional hardware to wirelessly control the exposure or zoom of each camera.
The Wireless iRis app was written specifically to be used
with the new fStop Wireless single channel Lens Motor Driver from www.plcelectronicsolutions.com.
Use of the touch screen is quite responsive and has no noticeable latency.
The lens markings line up precisely with the ruler and
can be calibrated for any of the 16 user programmable lenses.
By the use of hand gestures the ruler can also be expanded for increased resolution thereby setting the limits of the lens motor travel.
Our Lock feature prevents unintended changes and our connection status indicator assures us that the receiver is indeed connected and moving the motor to the desired
position.
When multiple cameras have fStop boxes connected to them you can easily switch control between them as well as view the current stop of each camera simultaneously
simply by rotating the screen to a landscape view, all from a single hand held device.

Is it safe to use a wireless security camera in your house? Is it possible a burglar can use the signal to spy on you?

Wireless cameras have become increasingly prevalent and are used for a variety of purposes in modern society. The following are some examples of how wireless cameras are used.
Security Wireless Camera
A wireless security camera can be used in any home security system, and they can be used indoors and outdoors. Wireless cameras come in all shapes and sizes. Some types are waterproof and can be hidden away in outdoor plants or other nooks and crannies.
One advantage of using a wireless camera for outdoor security is that one does not need to do extensive preparatory setups or wiring. If you decide you would like to have your camera in a different location, you simply move it with the hassle of re-wiring.
A wireless security camera is also good for temporary purposes. For example, if you want to have it in a certain location for a specific event or time period, it is easy to do so and then move it to another location later.
Spy Camera
A spy cam is just what the name says – a hidden wireless camera used to spy on people. Modern uses and forms of spy cams are only getting more and more creative. They can be incorporated into pens, small USB flash keys, disguised in glasses, or tiny enough that they can be concealed within clothing.
Some spy cameras come featured with tiny microphones and listening/recording devices. You can even get a back pack with a hidden camera in it, in case you want to keep close watch on whoever is hiking behind you.
A Nanny Cam
Surveillance cameras can be used by parents to keep an eye on their children’s babysitters (to make sure they don’t abuse the children, or raid the fridge too often), or they can be used by nannies to keep an eye on the children themselves. They can also be used to monitor pets.
These wireless cameras can get innovative too – one recent example I saw is disguised in an air-freshener. In some cases, these wireless digital cameras come with portable hand-held monitors so that you can always have an eye on your child as you move through the house.
Some types of wireless nanny camera (or surveillance camera) will display the image on a compatible remote cell phone, PDA, Internet web browser, or a standard video display. Some are even equipped with heat sensors and will alert you by email if someone enters a room.
These cameras also have remote control functions so that you can change their position or pan to get a new view, from wherever you are.

Camera for Video Surveillance)

A Wireless Security Camera is a device that transmits signals to a receiving device, unlike typical video cameras that record images internally. Depending on the model, the receiver can be 300 to 500 feet from the camera. The receiver could be connected to a monitor so that you can view the signal received. It could also be connected to a VCR so that the signal could be recorded and viewed later.
There are various features available to cover your every need. If the camera doesn’t need to be hidden, then it could be AC-powered. This means that a mother who wants to watch over her sleeping child while working at another part of the house can do so with an AC-powered wireless security camera. She could point the camera on the sleeping child and then connect the receiver to the television set in the other room while tending to other things.
In some cases a hidden wireless security camera is needed for the job. News of abusive nannies has caused parents to install cameras discreetly so that they can see if their children are treated properly. These cameras are battery operated and can be placed anywhere; the feed would be recorded for later viewing.
Then there are those cameras that can be viewed live via the internet. The live feed gets broadcasted through your existing wireless network; by entering the specified IP in your browser window, you can watch the feed live at any time. There are some cameras that include software that allows you to pan, zoom in and tilt the camera from any place where you might be at watching.
These are just some examples of wireless security cameras and their many uses. There are several varieties to choose from, and their prices range from fairly cheap models on up to more expensive high end models. Hopefully, you can find the one for your specific needs.
